Akma tekerlek izi oluşumunun sonlu elemanlar metodu ile modellenmesi

Abstract

Highways mostly preferred in Turkey for freight and passenger transport between tranportatiom modes and flexible pavements are common in use. Therefore extending the expected life of flexible pavaments is important to prevent the deteriorations. Rutting is one of the permanent deformation type of deteriotion which can be seen widespreadly especially in hot whether and heavy loading conditions. In this study, flow rutting which is arising from pavement material mixture, modelled with finite element method with using ANSYS.Two-dimensional model used to forming the problem geometry. First of all, material decription of asphalt pavement which show viscoelastic property is transferred to the program. Then problem geometry is divided to finite element to generating mesh system. Rutting depth is computing under the linear line loading. In this study, behaviour of flexible pavement is examined under different young's modulus, different tempereature, different loading and different load repetation conditions. These parameters are examined in how to affect the rutting of flexible pavements.
