2018 Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı'nın dijital yetkinlik bakımından incelenmesi

Abstract

In today's world, digitalization is dominating all areas with an increasing speed. This is naturally also found in the educational environments. As one of the steps of being a nation competing with the developing world is to adapt to digitalization to the extent required by the age, it is important to include this issue in an adequate and balanced way in the educational environments. In this study, it is aimed to examine the gains of 2018 Turkish Lesson Curriculum (Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8) in terms of suitability to digital competence. Each gain in the program has been reviewed in accordance with the European Digital Competence Framework (Digcomp), prepared by the European Parliament. The study designed according to qualitative research has been conducted in line with the document analysis. In this study, 524 different gains in the areas of listening / watching, speaking, reading and writing of the curriculum, Digcomp's information and data literacy, communication and collaboration, digital content creation, security and problem-solving steps have been evaluated with the content analysis. At the end of the study, it was concluded that digital competence was included in the Turkish curriculum curricula but no balance was observed in the distribution of the gains in terms of both skill areas and grade levels.
