Dostoyevski’nin Eserlerinde Peygamber Algısı

Abstract

In his works, Dostoevsky declared his thoughts about religion staying in Russian Idea. Catholicism which developed in western thought, socialism and nihilism are among the thoughts that he opposed to. Putting people at the base of the idea, He also sought to justify the existential philosophy. In his works, he sees Jesus as “The Son of God” and “Regenerative of Russian İdea. According to him, there is no need to believe in miracles. Likewise, he approached to Islam in political aspects and assumed the negative attitude towards Islam and its Prophet Muhammad. In this study, we will try to examine Dostoyevski’s overview of prophecy, Jesus as a prophet, miracles, islam as a religion and its prophet in the context of his novels and memories.
