Obezite ve jinekolojik kanserler

Abstract

Obesity is a chronic illness that could be seen in all age groups. While the prevalence of obesity is increasing, obesity related comorbidities do also increase. Some hormonal changes due to obesity could trigger the carcinogenesis process of gynecologic cancers. Obesity is not only a risk factor for gynecologic cancers but also it affects the prognosis on treatment and follow-up period.
