Sandıklı (Afyonkarahisar) jeotermal alanının hidrotermal alterasyon özellikleri

Abstract

Sandıklı, which is the study area of, in the province of Afyon, in the Aegean region in West Central Anatolia, Southeast of the province of Afyon, 1 / 25000 scale, Afyon L24a1-a2 and b1in layouts in is located in, is represented by schists of Paleozoic age.Paleozoic rocks that form the basis of geothermal field, geothermal hot water main reservoir. Unit is defined as a group of metamorphosed Paleozoic section of Afyon, called Kestel formation. Paleozoic rocks in the upper levels, creates Hüdai quartzite member.Drillings in the exploration and production drilling in the region of AFS ? 14 number of XRD analysis performed on samples of crumb according to the results, dolomite, quartz, feldspar, clay minerals, zeolite, chlorite, illite, and mica were unions. Based on these results, a potassic and further zeolitic alteration has been observed in region and effects of geothermal or hydrothermal liquid at 120-150 oC may be subject matter.
