Abstract

Laiklik, genel anlamda Fransız ve Anglo Sakson geleneği bağlamında değerlendirilir. Fransız modeli laiklik, din özgürlüğünü kısıtlamakta ve din özgürlüğünün kamusal alanda var olmasını sert bir şekilde eleştirmektedir. Anglo Sakson modeli laiklik ise dinsel çoğulculuğa dayanmakta ve bunu toplumsal düzenin bir teminatı olarak görmektedir. Buradan hareketle çalışma, Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi’nin (CHP) Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu (2010-2017) dönemindeki laiklik uygulamalarını ve söylemlerini bu iki gelenek bağlamında değerlendirmekte ve CHP’nin hangi gelenek içerisinde yer aldığını analiz etmektedir.
