Abstract

Bu çalışmadaki amaç acil servise kabul edilen ve iç hastalıkları servisinde yatan erişkin akut zehirlenme vakalarının prospektif analizini ve oranlarını saptamaktı. Dicle üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi (DÜTF) acil servisine 2005-2006 tarihleri arasında kabul edilen ve iç hastalıkları servisinde yatan akut zehirlenme vakaları çalışmaya alındı. Vakaların klinik, laboratuvar ve demografik özellikleri ve hangi tip zehirlenme olduğu kaydedildi. Çalışmaya 80 zehirlenme vakası alındı. Ortalama yaş 23±8 (14-57). Vakaların çoğunluğu 15-25 (%75) yaş aralığındaydı. Akut zehirlemelerin çoğu (%85) intihar girişimi nedeniyle yapılmıştı. Medikal ilaçların yüksek dozda alınması %50 en fazla sebepken tarımsal ilaçlar %35 oranında yer almıştır. Yüksek dozda alınan medikal ilaçlar içinde en fazla psikiyatrik ilaçlar (%20) ve parasetamol (%17,5) olmuştur. İntihar girişiminde bulunanların oranı yalnız olan gençlerde, kadınlarda, kalabalık ailelerde, şehirde oturanlarda ve ilköğretim ve lise mezunlarında yüksekti.
