Abstract

Zaza dili yıllar yılı varlığını sürdürmesine rağmen, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin kuruluşundan itibaren uygulanan dil politikalarıyla beraber dönüşüme uğramıştır. Diyarbakır'ın daha çok kırsal kesiminde yaşayan Zazalar, geçimlerini tarım ve hayvancılıkla sağlamaktaydı. Bu hayatlarını sürdürürken, dillerinin canlılığında ve devamlılığında herhangi bir sorun yaşamamışlardır. Fakat dil politikalarının etkisi kadar, Güneydoğu Anadolu Projesi (GAP), okulların inşa edilmesi, televizyonların evlere girişi, internet ve akıllı telefonların yayılmasıyla birlikte, Zaza dili yerini zamanla Türkçeye bırakmaya başlamıştır. Eğitime olan rağbetin artmasıyla birlikte yeni kuşakların tarım ve hayvancılığa olan ilgisi azalmıştır. Böylece Zazalar için tek geçim kaynağı tarım ve hayvancılık olmaktan çıkmıştır. Eğitim değerli bir kuruma dönüşerek Türkçeye olan ilgi artmıştır. Diyarbakır şehir merkezine yayılmaya başlayan Zazalar resmi dil olan Türkçe kadar hâkim topluluk olan Kurmançların dilleri altında varlığını sürdürmeye çalışmaktadır. Zazaca bu iki dilin etkisi altında belirli mekânlara sıkışmıştır. Böylece Zazacaya olan bağlar zayıflamıştır. Zaza dilini konuşan kuşaklar arasında da farklılıklar oluşmaya başlamıştır. Zaza dili resmi dil olan Türkçenin gölgesinde kalarak dönüşmeye başlamıştır. Bu çalışma Diyarbakır şehir merkezinde yaşayan Zazaların dillerinin dönüşümüne yöneliktir. Although Zaza language has existed over the years, it exposed to many alternations within language politics since establishment of Turkish republic. These alternations will be analyzed in thesis. The Zaza people who inhabited in countryside of Diyarbakır which is a city of southeast of the Turkey hadn't confronted any problems to maintain their language because of living on agriculture and animal breeding. However, apart from language politics, Southeastern Anatolian Project (GAP), the spread of television, internet and smart phones have affected Zazaki language adversely. With increasing of demand in education, younger generations have lost their interests in their ancestors' occupations which involve cultivation and animal breeding. It must be considered that the official language of education is Turkish in Turkey. For this reason, the importance of Turkish has increased gradually. The groups of Zaza people who spread to the downtown of Diyarbakır survive under dominance of Kurdish groups and languages. Zazaki replaced by those two languages: Turkish and Kurdish. Some differences have arisen among native speakers of Zaza language especially in cities. These alternations will be studied in this work. And for this purpose, field surveys and some interviews are carried on Diyarbakır city.KeywordsZaza People, Zaza Language, Language Policy, Migration, Education.
