Abstract

In this floristic research, which takes place in Mazıdağı district that belongs to Mardin city, 13 genus and 22 taxa, which belong to Amaryllidaceae, Asparagaceae, Colchicaceae, Iridaceae, Ixioliriaceae, Liliaceae and Xanthorrhoeaceae families, have been determined and morphological characteristics of these taxa have been examined.Amaryllidaceae family is represented with 2 genus and 7 taxa in work field. It is followed by Iridaceae family with 3 genus and 6 taxa, Asparagaceae family with 2 genus and 2 taxa, Liliaceae family with 1 taxa, Colchicaceae, Ixioliriaceae and Xanthorrhoeaceae families with 1 taxon, in order. Allium, Crocus and Muscari are genus with 6, 4 and 2 taxa correspondingly. The rest of the genus are represented by 1 taxon in field. 15 of taxa (% 68) are determined as element of Iran-Turan, 3 of taxa (% 14) are determined as element of Mediterranean, but the phytogeographic region of rest 4 taxa (% 18) could not be determined.Allium armenum, Allium armerioides, Hyacinthella siirtensis, Crocus biflorus subsp. pseudonubigena, Crocus leichtlinii, Asphodeline damascena subsp. gigantea have been identified as endemic plants which grows around Mazıdağı. The IUCN categories of endemic plants were added to study.Key Words: Geophytes, Flora, Mazıdağı, Mardin.

Mardin ili, Mazıdağı ilçesinde sürdürülen floristik araştırmada, Amaryllidaceae, Asparagaceae, Colchicaceae, Iridaceae, Ixioliriaceae, Liliaceae ve Xanthorrhoeaceae familyalarına ait 13 cinse bağlı 22 takson belirlenmiş ve bu taksonların morfolojik özellikleri incelenmiştir. Çalışma alanında Amaryllidaceae familyası, 2 cins ve 7 taksonla temsil edilir. Bunu sırasıyla 3 cins ve 6 taksonla Iridaceae familyası, 3 cins ve 4 taksonla Asparagaceae familyası, 2 cins ve 2 taksonda, Liliaceae familyası ile 1 taksona sahip Colchicaceae, Ixioliriaceae ve Xanthorrhoeaceae familyaları izler. Allium 6, Crocus 4 ve Muscari 2 taksona sahip cinslerdir. Diğer cinsler alanda birer taksonla temsil edilmektedir. Mazıdağı çevresinde yetiştiği belirlenen taksonlardan 15 tanesi (% 68) Iran-Turan elementi, 3 tanesi (% 14) Akdeniz elementi olup 4 tanesinin (% 18) hangi fitocoğrafik bölgeye ait olduğu belirlenememiştir.Allium armenum, Allium armerioides, Hyacinthella siirtensis, Crocus biflorus subsp. pseudonubigena, Crocus leichtlinii, Asphodeline damascena subsp. gigantea Mazıdağı çevresinde yetişen endemik bitkiler olarak tespit edilmiştir.
