Abstract

Bu çalışma, Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesinde geniş alanlarda ekimi yapılan mercimekte farklı ekim zamanlarının verim üzerine etkilerini saptamak amacıyla 1996-1997 yetişme döneminde D.Ü.Ziraat Fakültesi Deneme Alanında yürütülmüştür. Üç ekim zamanı (15 Kasım, 5 Aralık, 25 Aralık) ve altı mercimek çeşidinin (Seyran 96, Fırat 87, Yerli Kırmızı, Kışlık Kırmızı 51, F87 53 L, F86 29L) kullanıldığı bu çalışmada tane veriminin ekim zamanlarından etkilenmediği, ancak en yüksek tane veriminin (126.9 kg/da) 15 Kasım ekiminden elde edildiği saptanmıştır. Denemede bitkilerin olgunlaşma zamanı üzerine ekim zamanlarının büyük etkisi olduğu, ekim zamanının gecikmesi halinde olgunlaşma zamanının azaldığı görülmüştür. Bitki basma bakla sayısının da ekim zamanlarından önemli derecede etkilendiği, ekim zamanının gecikmesiyle bitki basma bakla sayısının azaldığı tespit edilmiştir. Bitki boyu, biyolojik verim, tane verimi, hasat indeksi ve bin tane ağırlığı gibi diğer özelliklerin ise ekim zamanlarından etkilenmediği, ancak çeşitler arasında farklılıklar olduğu saptanmıştır. This study was conducted, during 1996-97 growing season on the Experimental Field Of the Faculty of Agriculture at Dicle Unıversty in Diyarbakır, to investigate the effects of different sowing dates on the seed yield of lentils which is widely grown at the Southeast Anatolia of Turkey. Three sowing dates (Nowember 15, December 5, December 25) and six lentil lines and cultivars (Seyran 96, Fırat 87, Yerli Kırmızı, Kışlık Kırmızı 51, F87 53L, F86 29L) were used, There was no significant effect of the sowing times on the seed yield of lentil cultivars although the highest yield (1269 kg/ha) was obtained from planting on 15 Nowember. Delays in the sowing dates resulted in decreases in days to maturity and the pod number per plant Plant height, biological yield, seed yield, harvest index and thousand seed weight were not affected by sowing times, but significant differences were observed among the cultivars for these characters.Key Words : Lentil, Sowing Time, Seed Yield
