ÖZET Bu çalışmada; 58 pilonidal sinüslü hastanın fenolis konservatif tedavi sonuçları sunulmuştur.Hastalar lokal anestezi altında depilasyon ve ekskavasyon yapıldıktan sonra sinüs trakt içine %80`lik fenol enjeksiyonu ile tedavi edildiler. Fenol uygulanması her hastada 1'den 4'e kadar değişiklik gösterdi Ortalama 1,7 enjeksiyon. izleme süresi en uzun. 3 yıldır.Nüks oranı %8`62`dir 5 hasta Rekurrens görülen hastalardan 4'ü yine aynı yöntemle tedavi edildi. Bir hasta ise cerrahi tedaviyi yeğledi.Sonuçlarmız, pilonidal sünüslü hastalarda %80'lik fencile konservatif tedavinin başarılı : bir tedavi biçimi olduğunu gösterdi.
