Abstract

ÖZET Bu çalışmada; 58 pilonidal sinüslü hastanın fenolis konservatif tedavi sonuçları sunulmuştur.Hastalar lokal anestezi altında depilasyon ve ekskavasyon yapıldıktan sonra sinüs trakt içine %80`lik fenol enjeksiyonu ile tedavi edildiler. Fenol uygulanması her hastada 1'den 4'e kadar değişiklik gösterdi Ortalama 1,7 enjeksiyon. izleme süresi en uzun. 3 yıldır.Nüks oranı %8`62`dir 5 hasta Rekurrens görülen hastalardan 4'ü yine aynı yöntemle tedavi edildi. Bir hasta ise cerrahi tedaviyi yeğledi.Sonuçlarmız, pilonidal sünüslü hastalarda %80'lik fencile konservatif tedavinin başarılı : bir tedavi biçimi olduğunu gösterdi. SUMMARY Îr this study. the results of conservative treataent with phenol of 58 patients with pilonidal sinus disease is reported. The patients were treated with injection of phenol &Q% Into the sinus trakc after they had undergone dep i Ration and excavation î3?hiie under îocaî anesthesia. The nusaber of phenoi injections in each patient varied froa one to four CMean: Î.7 inject ion Î.The aaxiaua follow-up period ^as 3 year. The recurrens rate ®as S.S2%C5 patients J. Four of these patients who had a rscarrens 5?ere treated with the saae procedure.One patient preferred surgical therapy. Our resuits shos? that conservative treataent with phenol' 80% is a succesfulî therapeutical regiaen in patients with pîîonidai sinus.
