The subject of this study is Ebu A'la el- Mevdudi's Understanding of Oneness. The study consists of an introduction and two chapters.In the introduction part, the environment in which Mevdudi was born into was examined in terms of geography, learning and cultural situation. After that Ebu A'la Mevdudi's life and works were mentioned. The concept of Oneness, which is the basis of the Islam, and how it should be perceived was mentioned in the first chapter. In accordance with this, the views of the Islamic Kalam Scholars are explained as well. Mevdudi's approach to Oneness in all ways is discussed in the second chapter. Finally, the notions which Mevdudi thought were against oneness and against which he fought were touched upon.
Bu çalışmamız `Ebu A'la el-Mevdudi'nin Tevhid Anlayışı` konulu olup bir giriş ve iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde Mevdudi'nin yetişmiş olduğu muhitin coğrafi, ilmi ve kültürel durumunu inceledikten sonra Ebu A'la Mevdudi'nin hayatı ve eserlerini zikrettik. Birinci bölümde İslam dininin temeli olan tevhid inancının nasıl anlaşılması gerektiğine değindik ve bu konuda İslam kelam ekollerinin görüşlerini izaha çalıştık. İkinci bölümde ise Mevdudi'nin tevhide tüm yönleriyle bakışından bahsettik. Son olarak Mevdudi'nin tevhide aykırı gördüğü ve mücadele ettiği düşüncelere değindik.
