Abstract

Bu çalışma, Ege ve Çukurova Bölgeleri farklı lokasyonla¬rından toplanan kütlü pamuk örneklerinin lif kalite özellikleri yönünden incelenmesi amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Elde edilen ve-riler, tesadüf parselleri deneme desenine göre değerlendirilmiş¬tir. 2018 yılında Ege ve Çukurova Bölgelerinin farklı lokasyon¬larından alınan Flash, Gloria ve SG 125 çesitlerine ait kütlü pamuklar materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler so¬nucunda genotipler arasında Gloria, lif kalitesi ile ön plana çık¬mıştır. Lokasyon, genotip ve genotip × lokasyon etkileşiminin; çırçır randımanı, 100 tohum ağırlığı, lif inceliği, lif uzunluğu, lif kopma dayanıklılığı ve sarılık üzerine önemli etkisi olduğu be¬lirlenmiştir. En uzun lifler Adana-Doğankent ile Adana-Ceyhan lokasyonunda Gloria çeşidinden, en kısa lifler ise Aydın-Koçarlı lokasyonunda SG 125 çeşidinden; en ince lifler ise İzmir-Torbalı lokasyonunda SG 125 çeşidinden elde edilmiştir.

This study is carried out for the purpose of examining on the fiber quality of seed cotton samples that received from different places and locations in Turkey. The datas obtained are evaluated on the randomized complete plot design. In 2018, Flash, Gloria and SG 125 varieties were used as material taken from different locations. As a result of the study Gloria has better quality among the other genotypes. Location, genotype and genotype × location interaction, ginning percentage, 100 seed weight, fiber fineness, fiber length, fiber strength and yellowness are important in the Aegean and Çukurova Regions. The longest fibers are from Gloria cultivar in Adana-Doğankent and Adana-Ceyhan locations, while the shortest fibers are from SG 125 cultivar in Aydın-Koçarlı location; the finest fibers were obtained from SG 125 variety in İzmir-Torbalı location.
