In the classical Turkish literature, many masnavis have been written up as religious, sufistic and moral so as to train reader. An allegoric expression is mostly preferred in these works and deep truths which are abstruse have been found out via similes by reader. Pergâr u Kalem mathnawi of Subhî-i Burûsevi who is one of the sufi poets in the 16th century is one of those, as well. In the mathnawi, many different issues such as devotion, trust in God, patience, not to be impertinent, truth, reformation and fulfill its responsibilities were touched. Subhî wants to show with his this work that many divine mysteries can be in the difficulties which are met in life. While he makes this, he improves one set of similes based on functions in in daily life of tools like pencil, paper, compasses and scissors. Subhî gives critical and deep truths which he wants to tell in this way to reader corporally and he helps progress of public in terms of moral values via art. Mathnawi is written in the style of debate. The story section of the work, is based on the dialogues between the papers themselves; the talks between pencil, compasses and scissors. In this work, Pergâr u Kalem masnavi of Subhî-i Burûsevî will be introduced, will be focused on the allegoric expression in the work, episode which is described the actual story will be summarized, written translation text of work and linguistic translation of the text will be mentioned.
