Türkiye lokal badem (Prunus amygdalus L.) seleksiyon çalışmaları

Abstract

Özet: Badem (Prunus amygdalus L.) Türkiye’de, üzerinde en çok seleksiyon çalışması yapılan meyve türlerinden biridir. Badem genetik varyasyonu konusunda ülkemizin zenginliği, kısa bir süre içinde ıslah çalışmalarında başarı için olanak sağlamıştır. Türkiye’nin birçok bölgesinde badem yetiştirildiği için yörelere uygun çeşitlerin geliştirilmesi son derece önemlidir. Bu yüzden, ülkemizin farklı bölgelerinde, bugüne kadar yapılan seleksiyon çalışmaları esnasında elde edilen Dokuzoğuz-II (120-1) ve Gülcan I (101-23) gibi üstün nitelikli badem genotiplerin birkaçı çeşit olarak tescil edilmiştir. Bu derlemenin amacı, ülkemizin farklı bölgelerinde seçilmiş bazı badem genotiplerin önemli özelliklerini karşılaştırmak ve gelecekte bunlardan yararlanmaktır.
