Abstract

Toruslar iyi huylu ve genellikle semptom göstermeyen kemik büyümeleridir. Mandibular toruslar genellikle multisferoidal formlara sahiptirler. Toruslar yüzyıldan uzun süredir bilinmesine rağmen, biyolojik anlamları ve morfolojik özellikleri hala tam olarak kavranamamıştır. Mandibular toruslar genellikle bilateral olarak mandibulanın lingual bölgesinde mylohyoid sırtın üzerine lokalize olan kemik büyümesidir. Bu olguda, herhangi bir sistemik hastalığı olmayan 30 yaşındaki bir kadın hastanın tedavi süreci anlatılmaktadır.
