Abstract

El presente estudio se real izó con registros de Papanicolau tomados en el Centro de Salud de Morales durante los años de 1994, 1995, 1996 un estudio de 809 PAPS tomados de los cuales 12 presentaron Neoplasia Cet-vical haciendo una incidencia de 14.B por mil habitan tes y una frecuencia de 01 caso positivo por cada 66 muestras negativas. Los principales factores asociados fueron ; edad mayor de 25 años, número de hijos mayor de 2, edad de inicio de relaciones sexuales menor de 20 años, número de parejas sexuales más de 2, antecedentes de aborto. Se puntualiza la necesidad de ampliar y descentralizar los servicios de detección de Cáncer de Cuello, así como la realización de investigaciones prospectivas con seguimiento para cuantificar la evolución o regresión de las Neoplasias Cervicales.

The present study is real hoisted with records of Pap smears taken in the health centre of Morales during the years 1994, 1995, 1996 a study of 809 taken PAPS of which 12 presented Neoplasia Cet-vical doing an incidence of 14.B per thousand live teas and a frequency of 01 positive case for every 66 negative samples. The main associated factors were; older than 25 years, number of children under 20 years of age greater than 2, age of onset of sexual intercourse and number of sexual partners more than 2, history of abortion. It says the need to expand and decentralize Neck Cancer screening services, as well as conducting forward-looking research with follow-up to quantify the evolution or regression of cervical neoplasia.
