El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar la eficacia del debido proceso en los juicios orales por videoconferencia en el Primer Juzgado Penal Unipersonal de Tarapoto durante los años 2020 – 2021. Para tal finalidad, se empleó a metodología mixta de tipo básico y diseño descriptivo correlacional. En cuanto a la recolección de datos, fueron analizados 100 casos donde se registran juicios orales llevados a cabo por videoconferencia en el Primer Juzgado Penal Unipersonal de Tarapoto durante los años 2020 – 2021. Asimismo, se entrevistaron a 20 profesionales especializados en materia penal y procesal penal a fin de poder recabar su experiencia para el cumplimiento de los objetivos propuestos. Los resultados obtenidos permitieron concluir que durante los años 2020 – 2021 la utilización de la videoconferencia en las audiencias de juicio oral por video conferencia llevadas a cabo en el Primer Juzgado Penal Unipersonal fue eficaz para garantizar el debido proceso de los partes procesales.
The objective of this research was to determine the effectiveness of due process in oral trials by videoconference in the First Unipersonal Criminal Court of Tarapoto during the years 2020 - 2021. For this purpose, a mixed methodology of basic and descriptive correlational design was used. In terms of data collection, 100 cases were analyzed where oral trials carried out by videoconference in the First Unipersonal Criminal Court of Tarapoto during the years 2020 - 2021 were reported. Likewise, 20 professionals specialized in criminal and criminal procedural matters were interviewed in order to gather their experience for the fulfillment of the proposed objectives. The results obtained allowed to conclude that during the years 2020 - 2021 the use of videoconferencing in the oral trial hearings by video conference carried out in the First Unipersonal Criminal Court was effective in guaranteeing the due process of the procedural parties.
