Abstract

The main objective of this research work was to design concrete 175 Kg/cm2, 210 Kg/cm2 and 280, Kg/cm2, with materials from different quarries, by combining aggregates from two rivers, to finally obtain a design Optimum mixing according to the characteristics of the elements. It began with the analysis of the physical and chemical properties of the samples taken in the quarries and the elaboration of concrete specimens in the order of; fine aggregate from the Sisa river, coarse aggregate from the Huallaga river. It was then broken at 7 days, 14 days and 28 days respectively in order to obtain an ideal result and therefore more appropriate according to the amount of aggregate used from each quarry and the compressive strength obtained. At the end of the tests, the optimum dose in the increase of the A / C ratio is 1.25% of the standard ratio obtained from the ACI Method. The ACI method for the design of concrete mixtures allowed us through its criteria to estimate the approximate quantities of materials for the elaboration of the specimens required in obtaining the concrete designs of 175 kg/cm2, 210 kg/cm2 and 280 kg/cm2.
