Abstract

El ruido siempre ha sido un problema ambiental importante para el ser humano, ya que la exposición a los ruidos produce considerables efectos adversos en la salud. Esta situación preocupante impulsó a realizar este trabajo de investigación, cuyo objetivo principal fue determinar los niveles de ruido en la ciudad de Tarapoto (2015). EI estudio se realizó dentro del perímetro urbano, obteniéndose como resultado el nivel máximo promedio de ruido de 77,8 dB(A), valor mayor que el nivel máximo permisible establecido por la organización mundial de salud, el cual es de 65 dB(A); considerándose a la ciudad de Tarapoto como una urbe ruidosa. Se determino los niveles máximos de ruido en promedio por turnos obteniendo valores: turno mañana = 76,6 dB(A), turno tarde: 77,8 dB (A), turno noche: 78,8 dB(A). así mismo se determinó el nivel máximo promedio de ruido en instituciones educativas y de salud, obteniéndose valores mayores a los niveles máximos permisibles establecidos por la organización mundial de salud a 65 dB(A). Dentro del perímetro urbano se encontró 125 puntos críticos de contaminación sonora que oscilan entre 77,8 dB(A) y 84,4 dB(A). El método consistió en elegir diferentes calles de la ciudad con un muestreo no probabilístico, se midió los niveles máximos de ruido con un decibelímetro sound level tester. Model: 2310SL (Rango de frecuencia 35 dB a 130 dB).

Noise has always been a major environmental problem for humans, since exposure to noise produces considerable adverse effects on health. This worrisome situation led to this research work, whose main objective was to determine noise levels in the city of Tarapoto (2015). The study was conducted within the urban perimeter, obtaining as a result the maximum average noise level of 77.8 dB (A), a value greater than the maximum permissible level established by the world health organization, which is 65 dB (A); Considering the city of Tarapoto as a noisy city. The maximum noise levels were determined on average by turns, obtaining values: morning shift = 76.6 dB (A), late shift: 77.8 dB (A), night shift: 78.8 dB (A). Likewise, the maximum average noise level in educational and health institutions was determined, obtaining values higher than the maximum permissible levels established by the world health organization at 65 dB (A). Within the urban perimeter, 125 critical points of sound contamination were found, ranging from 77.8 dB (A) to 84.4 dB (A). The method consisted of choosing different streets of the city with a non-probabilistic sampling, the maximum noise levels were measured with a decibelmeter sound level tester. Model: 2310SL (Frequency range 35 dB to 130 dB).
