Abstract

El trabajo de investigación tuvo como principal objetivo evaluar la composición de los lodos generados en el proceso de potabilización en la planta ecológica de tratamiento de agua cruda y el impacto en la calidad del agua de la quebrada Quillotucto del distrito de Soritor, para ello se tomaron muestras de los lodos en la planta potabilizadora y del agua de la quebrada Quillotucto antes y después de que los lodos fueran vertidos a estas aguas, la toma de muestra se realizó dos veces debido a que el tiempo de limpieza de la planta es de aproximadamente cada tres meses tiempo en que los lodos son vertido al agua de la quebrada. Los parámetros evaluados en los lodos fueron los sólidos totales encontrándose un promedio de 124 294,5 mg/L, aluminio con promedio de 20 636 mg/L, hierro promedio de 8 501,5 mg/L, calcio promedio de 334,6 mg/L, muestras que fueron enviadas al laboratorio regional del agua-Gobierno regional de Cajamarca, el parámetro evaluado in situ fue el (pH) que tuvo como promedio 6,65; de igual manera para el agua de la quebrada Quillotucto los parámetro fueron los mismos pre vertimiento de los lodos, obteniendo un promedio pH 5,78, sólidos totales 304,5 mg/L, aluminio 6,92 mg/L, calcio 8,77 mg/L y hierro 2,84 mg/L, post vertimiento de los lodos promedio de pH 6,7, sólidos totales 4 087,85 mg/L, aluminio 615,25 mg/L, calcio 32,89 mg/L y hierro con 179,9 mg/L, los resultados obtenidos del muestreo del agua de la quebrada Quillotucto permitió comparar con los Estándares de Calidad Ambiental (ECA) determinándose así el alto nivel de aluminio, sólidos totales y hierro post vertimiento de los lodos, sin embargo el pH y calcio no sobrepasan estos estándares. Además para determinar la contribución de los lodos en la contaminación de las aguas de la quebrada Quillotucto se procedió mediante la distribución t student unilateral izquierda con 95% de confianza, con un resultados de -3,03; logrando probar los impactos negativos que generan los lodos en la calidad del agua de la quebrada Quillotucto.
