Abstract

Bu çalışma, Ege Üniversitesi Ödemiş Meslek Yüksekokulu deneme tarlalarında, 2003 ve 2004 yıllarında, tarla ve örtü altında olmak üzere, iki farklı ortamda yürütülmüştür. Denemenin amacı, alternatif bir ürün olarak düşünülebilecek olan sümbülteberin çiçek verimi, bazı kalite özellikleri ve besin element içeriğine N uygulamalarının etkisini belirlemektir. Araştırmada, incelenen özellikler arasındaki etkileşimler de incelenmiştir. Tarla denemeleri ve örtü altı denemeleri üç tekerrürlü olarak, beş farklı azot dozu (0-10-20-30-40 kg/da) uygulanarak kurulmuştur. Örtü altında yapılan yetiştiriciliğin açıkta yetiştiriciliğe göre başak boyu, başak sayısı, başak basma çiçek sayısı ve çiçeklerime periyodu üzerine olumlu etkileri belirlenmiştir. Azotun önemli etkisinin bulunduğu çalışmada, en uygun çiçek özellikleri 20 kg/da N dozunda elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca başak başına çiçek sayısı ile çiçeklenme periyodu arasında pozitif ilişki, yaprakların P ve Cu içeriği arasında negatif ilişki saptanmıştır.
