This study was conducted in order to determine theeffects of different salt concentrations (0-50-100-150 mMol NaCl) on theagronomical characteristics of Festucaarundinacea and Agropyron intermediumin Field Crops Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Ege Universityin 2010. Inthe trial, germination rate and speed (%), plant height (cm), leaflet width(cm), stem diameter (mm), fresh herbage and hay yield (g/plant), dry mattercontent (%) and dry matter yield (g/plant) were investigated. Results indicatedthat increasing salinity level caused to decrease on the agronomicalcharacteristics. The best results were obtained from 0 and 50 mMol salt concentrations.
