Aerobik ve anaerobik antrenmanların antioksidan enzimler üzerine etkisi

Abstract

33 ABSRACT The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of aerobic and anaerobic training programs in antioxidan defence mechanism of the body. The effect of aerobic training programs examined in long distance runners and the effect of anaerobic training programs examined in wrestlers. The subjects were 33 male and 22 of them were athlete. The subjects are divided into 3 groups. The first group is consisted of long distance runners.the second group is consisted of wrestlers and the third group consisted of sedantary man. The measurement of body weight and length is performed with a weight scala which has a length scala on it.The subjects measured without shoes with a thin shorts on them. The body composition was measured using skinfold caliper and assessed with Yuhasz methode. Max.V02 measurements is made by using Monark ergometer with indirect measurement methode of Astrand. The blood samples collected at rest in morning period. Hb and Htc levels is measured as well.Superoxyde dysmutase (SOD) and glutation peroxydase (Gpx) activities and plasma M DA levels determined in heparinized blood samples which is obtained from antecubital vein. The aerobic capacity of long distance runners were found higher than wrestlers and sedantary group according to the indirect Max V02 measurements of subjects ( p<0.001,p<0.001 ).This result was normal for the long distance runners who mostly uses aerobic training methodes. The MDA levels of long distance runners were significantly lower than the level of sedanter group ( p<0.05).This low level of MDA is thought as a34 result of training which increase the effect of antioxidan defending mechanism and lowers the free radicals and lipid peroxidation. There were not significant among the groups in SOD enzyme activity. Gpx activity in long distance runners were significantly higher than wrestlers ( p<0.05 ) and higher without a statistical significance than sedantery man. Positive adaptation to exercises is suggested as a reason of increase in Gpx activity. Exercises is suggested hydrogen peroxide increase and this could be a cause of increase in Gpx activity. This result could be a predictor of the effect of aerobic training in antioxidan defending system. Not finding a significant difference in the MDA level and antioxidan enzyme activity between wrestlers and sedantery group and higher Gpx activity in long distance runners than wrestlers suggested the positive effect in antioxidan defending system. These results may indicate the effect of aerobic training increases the adaptation capacity to oxidatif stress and thus decreases the lipid peroxidation rates.
