III ÖZET FISCHER-TROPSCH SENTEZLERİNDE DEMİR KATALİZÖRLERİNE VANADYUM İLAVESİNİN AKTİVİTE VE SELEKTİVİTEYE ETKİSİ HANOĞLU, Cumhur Doktora Tezi, Kimya Mühendisliği Bölümü Tez Yöneticisi: Prof.Dr.
IV ABSTRACT EFFECTS OF VANADIUM PROMOTION ON THE ACTIVITY AND SELECTIVITY OF IRON FISCHER-TROPSCH CATALYSTS HANO?LU, Cumhur Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering Supervisor: Prof.Dr. Mehmet SA?LAM June 1997, 108 pages In this study, effects of vanadium promotion on the activity and selectivity of iron Fischer-Tropsch catalysts have been investigated. The coprecipitation of vanadium and iron was carried out the first time in literature by a new technique. After the characterization of the catalysts by using AAS and BET analysis, the synthesis was performed in a fixed bed reactor. The products obtained in synthesis have been investigated for the activity and selectivity of the catalysts, and the results have been given comparatively. Keywords : Fischer-Tropsch Synthesis, iron catalyst, vanadium promotion
