Abstract

ÖZET Ege Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü deneme tarlalarında 1994 yılı vegetasyon döneminde yürütülen araştırmada değişik ekim normları ile sıra arası mesafelerin ingiliz çimi (Lolium perenneYmn tohum verimi ile verim komponentlerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Materyal olarak da ingiliz çiminin ticari varyetesi kullanılmıştır. 1993 yılında tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 3 tekerrürlü kurulmuş olan denemede her blokta 1000 gr/da, 1500 gr/da ve 2000 gr/da olmak üzere 3 ekim normu ve 20 cm ve 40 cm olmak üzere 2 sıra arası uzaklığın oluşturduğu 6 parsel yer almıştır. Her bir parsel 1,2 m x 2 m = 2,4 m2 alan, 18 parsel toplam 2,4 m2 x 18 = 43,2 m2 alan kaplamaktadır. Tarla denemesindeki her parselde rastgele seçilen iki bitki işaretlenerek 10 günde bir kardeş sayılan ve bitki boylan saptanmıştır. Hasat 01.06.1994 tarihinde el orakları ile yapılmıştır. Alman bir metre sıradaki örneklerde başak ve başakta başakçık sayılan tespit edilmiştir. Hasat edilen materyal bez torbalarla laboratuvara taşınmış ve gazete kağıtları üzerinde kurumaya terk edilmiştir. 15 gün sonra kuruyan materyal tokaçlarla dövülerek tohum ve sap fraksiyonlarına ayrılmış, elenip temizlenerek tohum ve sap ayrı ayrı tartılmıştır.Elde edilen değerler istatistiki analize tabi tutulmuş ve farklılıklar En Küçük Önemli Fark (EKÖF) değerleri kullanılarak konrol edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar şöyle özetlenebilir: Tohum üretimi için ingiliz çimi yetiştirildiğinde bitki boyu 52,4 cm 'ye ulaşmış ve yatma olmamış, kardeş sayısı tatminkar sonuçlar vermiş, en ideal başak sayısı 40 cm sıra arasında sağlanmış ve en fazla tohum 20 cm sıra arası ve 1500 gr/da ekim normunda elde edilmiştir.

18 SUMMARY EFFECT OF SEED RATE AND ROW SPACING ON THE SEED YIELD AND YIELD COMPONENTS OF PERENNIAL RYEGRASS UNDER BORNOVA CONDITIONS In this research study carried out at the experimental field of the department of field crops, Agriculture faculty, Aegean University in Izmir in 1994, the effects of seeding rates and row spacings on the seed yield and yield components of perennial ryegrass were investigated. A local traditional variety was the crop material of this research study. Field trial was conducted in a randomized complete block design with three replications. Three seeding rates (1000-1500-2000 gr/da) and two row spacing (20-40 cm) were combined in six different plots on each block. Plot size was 1,2 m x 2 m = 2,4 m2 and total plot research area was 2,4 m2 x 18 = 43,2 m2. Two crops were chosen and marked on each plot and their tiller number and crop heights were measured every ten days. Harvest was taken by hand sickles on 01.06.1994. Number of spike and number of spikelets per spike were recorded on the samples taken from 1 m row. Harvested material in bags was taken to the laboratory and dried on newspapers. Dried material was treshed and screened and separated to seed and stem fractions after 1 5 days. Data obtained from the experiment were analyzed statistically and the differences were tasted by using LSD values. The results taken from the research study can be summarized as followings; The plant height of perennial ryegrass for seed production reached to 52,4 cm without any lodging. The tiller numbers were satisfactory, highest spike number was obtained in 40 cm row spacing and highest seed yield was in 20 cm row spacing with 1 500 gr/da sowing rate.
