Urla Karantina adası`nda pinna nobilis (Linnaeus 1758)` in spat verimliliği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Akdeniz' e özgü büyük bir bivalve türü olan ve Urla Karantina Adası' nda doğal olarak bulunan Pina (Pinna nobilis L. 1758)' nın spat verimliliği araştırılmıştır. Denemede doğadan spat toplamada kullanılan polietilen fileler ve pvc boru kullanılarak oluşturulmuş kolektörler sistemleri hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan kollektörler dip (8m.) ve yüzey (1m.) olmak üzere iki farklı derinlikten örnekleme yapacak şekilde dizayn edilmiştir. Kolektörler 3 aylık ve iki tekrarlı olarak her ay atılmış ve 6 ay süresince örnekleme devam etmiştir.Toplanan pina spatlarının boy, en, kalınlık ve ağırlık ölçümleri yapılmıştır. Deneme boyunca ortamdaki su sıcaklığı, tuzluluk, klorofil- a ve seston aylık olarak ölçülmüştür. Analizler Ege Üniversitesi Su Ürünleri Fakültesi Urla Yerleşkesi' ndeki laboratuvarlarda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma boyunca elde edilen toplam pina spatlarının % 60,60'lık kısmı yüzey kolektörlerinden hasat edilmiştir. Yüzey ve dip kolektörleri arasındaki bu farklılık istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmamıştır (p>0,05). En fazla sayıda pina spatı Haziran, Temmuz ve Ağustos aylarında çalışma bölgesinde denize bırakılan kolektör gruplarının takip eden aylarda yapılan incelemelerinde tespit edilmiştir.Bu bölgeden P. nobilis spatı toplamak amacı ile denize kolektör bırakmak için en uygun ayların Haziran, Temmuz ve Ağustos ayları olduğu saptanmıştır. In this study, spatial productivity of a big bivalve species which is endemic to the Mediterranean Sea and naturally found at Urla Karantina Island, Pinna nobilis (Linnaeus, 1758) has been researched. For this essay, onion bags which is used for bivalve spat collection, and pvc pipes are used to constitute collector systems. Constituted collector systems designed in two types which ensures sampling from different depths. (Bottom, 8m. and surface, 1m.). Samplings carried out monthly. Prepared collectors deployed for six months with two recurrence. Length, width, thickness and weight of each spat which determinated on collectors were measured. Water temperature, salinity, chlorophyll- a and particular matter has been evaluated monthly. Analyses carried out in laboratories at Ege University Fisheries Faculty Urla Campus.Surface collectors have picked %60,60 of totally collected spats. Difference between surface collectors and bottom collectors was not found statistically significant (p> 0,05).The larger number of P. nobilis spats were determined on collector groups which has deployed in June, July and August.For this region, it is determined that; June, July and August is the most optimal months to deploy spat collectors to collect P. nobilis spats.
