Ot tipi yem şalgamı (Brassica rapa L.) silajında soldurmanın ve farklı katkıların fermantasyon ve aerobik stabilite üzerine etkileri

Abstract

Bu çalışma, 'Lenox' çeşidi ot tipi yem şalgamı (Brassica rapa L.) silajında soldurmanın ve farklı katkıların (buğday samanı, buğday kepeği ve pancar talaşı) silaj fermantasyonu ve aerobik stabilite üzerine etkilerini ortaya koymak amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada; yem şalgamının (YŞ) soldurulmadan veya katkı ilave edilmeden doğrudan (Kontrol), soldurularak (Soldurma) veya sırasıyla buğday samanı (YŞ+Saman), buğday kepeği (YŞ+Kepek) ve pancar talaşı (YŞ+Pancar talaşı) ilave edilerek silolanması şeklinde 5 farklı deneme grubu oluşturulmuştur. Denemede, tüm katkılar silaj karışımının KM içeriği % 30±0.5 olacak şekilde taze materyale 120 g/kg düzeyinde ilave edilmiştir. Silaj materyalleri kapaklı 1 l'lik cam kavanozlara 5 tekerrürlü sıkıştırılarak 60 gün süreyle fermantasyon oluşumuna bırakılmıştır. Silolama döneminin sonunda açılan tüm silajlara 7 gün süre ile aerobik stabilite testi uygulanmıştır. Soldurma ve katkı ilavesi silajların KM içeriğini önemli düzeyde (P<0.05) artırırken pH değerini etkilememiştir (P>0.05). Silolama öncesi yem şalgamının soldurulması, silajların amonyak-nitrojeni (NH3-N) içeriğini ve maya sayısını düşürmüş, suda çözünebilir karbonhidrat (SÇK) içeriği, Lactobacillus sayısı ve aerobik stabilitesini artırmıştır. Saman ilavesi silajların ham protein (HP), SÇK, nisbi yem değeri (NYD) ve metabolik enerji (ME) değerini (MEHBM ve MENDF) düşürmüş, asetik asit, nötr deterjanda çözünmeyen lif (NDF), hemiselüloz ve selüloz içeriğini artırmıştır. Kepek ilavesi ile silajların ham kül, NH3-N, asit deterjanda çözünmeyen lif (ADF) ve maya içeriği düşmüş, HP içeriği, Lactobacillus sayısı, aerobik stabilitesi, NYD, ME (MEHBM ve MEADF) değeri artmıştır. Pancar talaşı ilaveli silajlarda en yüksek SÇK içeriği, kuru madde tüketimi (KMT), NYD, MENDF ve MEADL değeri, en düşük NH3-N, NDF, ADF, asit deterjanda çözünmeyen lignin (ADL) ve hemiselüloz içeriği ve maya sayısı elde edilmiştir. Soldurma, saman ve kepek ilavesi silajların aerobik stabilitesini artırırken pancar talaşı ilavesi silajların aerobik stabilitesini düşürmüştür. Araştırma sonucunda, soldurma, buğday kepeği ve pancar talaşı ilavesi 'Lenox' çeşidi yem şalgamı silajların silaj fermantasyon özelliklerini ve yem değerini iyileştirmiş, aerobik stabilitesini (pancar talaşı hariç) artırmıştır.

This study was carried out to determine the effects of wilting and different additives (wheat straw, wheat bran and dried sugar beet pulp) on silage fermentation and aerobic stability of forage turnip (Brassica rapa L.) variety Lenox. In the study, 5 different experimental groups have been formed by ensiling of forage turnip (FT) unwilted or without additives (Control), wilted (Wilting), with straw (FT+Straw), wheat bran (FT+Bran) and dried sugar beet pulp (FT+ Dried Sugar Beet Pulp) respectively. In this trial, all additives were supplemented to fresh material at 120 g/kg level to obtain a silage mixture with 30±0.5% DM. Silage materials were compressed into 1 L glass jars with 5 replicate and allowed to be fermented for 60 days. At the end of the ensiling period, all silages were subjected to an aerobic stability test for 7 days. Wilting and different additives significantly (P<0.05) increased DM content of the silages but did not affect pH value of silages (P>0.05). Wilting forage turnip prior to ensiling decreased ammonia-N (NH3-N) content and yeast count, and increased in water soluble carbohydrates (SÇK) content, Lactobacillus count, aerobic stability of silages. The straw supplementation decreased crude protein (CP), WSC, relative feed value (RFV) and metabolisable energy (ME) value (MECN and MENDF), and increased acetic acid, neutral detergent fiber (NDF), hemicellulose and cellulose of silages. An increase in CP content, Lactobacilli count, aerobic stability, RFV, MECN value, and decrease in crude ash (CA), NH3-N, acid detergent fiber contents and yeast count of silages supplemented wheat bran were determined. The highest WSC content, dry matter intake (DMI), RFV, ME (MENDF, MEADL) values, and the lowest NDF, ADF, acid detergent lignin (ADL) and hemicellulose obtained from silages supplemented with dried sugar beet pulp. Although wilting, straw and bran supplementation increased aerobic stability, dried sugar beet pulp supplementation decreased aerobic stability in silages. As a result of research, wilting, wheat bran and dried sugar beet supplementation improved fermentation characteristics and feed value, increased aerobic stability (except for dried sugar beet) of forage turnip variety 'Lenox' silages.
