İzmir Körfezi`nde fitoplankton topluluğunda ağır metal akümülasyonu

Abstract

It is a fact that population growth, industrialization and agricultural activities consum elimited underground and surfacere sources of the world and increase environmental problems. The aim of this study is to observe the photometric increments of phytoplankton species and to compare the growth rates and growth rates when using different nitrogen sources and to investigate the effect of heavy metals(Cu, Mn and Zn) in different concentrations on theproduction of phytoplankton in heavymetals. When nitrate is used as a nitrogen source as a result of voltammetric measurements, maximum accumulation levels were measured as 1200 mg Cu/gdw for Cu, 1300 mg Mn/gdw for Mn, and 5500 mg Zn/gdw for Zn. When ammonium was used as the nitrogen source, no measurement was made for Zn cultures and the maximumvalue for Cu was measured as 1200 mg Cu/gdw and the maximum value for Mn was measured as 1500 mg Mn/gdw. However, it has been found that the nitrogen source used has a directeffect on thegrowth rate andheavy metal deposition.
