Teksel seleksiyon yoluyla elde edilen börülce genotiplerinin agronomik özelliklerinin belirlenmesi

Abstract

This research was carried out to determine some morphologic and agronomic properties of the selected 15 cowpeas genotypes. The plant material obtained from the gene pool collected from different province of the cowpea cultivated Aegean Region of Turkey, and characterized based on agronomic and morphological properties. The cowpea genotypes were evaluate for plant and flowering properties, pod and seed traits, and yield. Results showed that wide range of variability was assessing for agronomic and morphological properties of among the collection. The pod length, pod diameter, pod width, pod weight, pod dry matter content, yield per plant and total yield are the most discriminant traits. Furthermore, some genotypes showed the potential to be used in breeding programs.
