Abstract

90 4.3. ÖZET Araştırma voleybolcuların izokinetik diz kuvveti ile dikey sıçrama yükseklikleri arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak amacı ile yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla, araştırma yaş ortalaması 22.06±4.71 yıl olan süper ligde oynayan 15 bayan voleybolcuda yapılmıştır. Voleybolcuların fizyolojik profilleri (boy, vücut ağırlığı, vücut yağ oranı (%), dikey sıçrama) ve izokinetik kuvvet testi ile izokinetik diz fleksiyon ve ekstensiyon kuvvetleri saptanmıştır. Elde dilen sonuçlar, geçmişte bu amaca uygun yapılmış diğer çalışmaların sonuçları ile karşılaştırıldığında, bu çalışmada kaydedilen izokinetik diz kuvveti değerleri daha düşük bulunmuştur. Çalışmalardaki bayan ve erkek sporcuların gerek fiziksel özelliklerinin gerekse spor branşlarının farklılığı bu çalışmada elde edilen sonuçların daha düşük olmasına neden olarak düşünülmektedir. Ayrıca teste uyumun ve test sırasında deneğin cesaretlendirilmesinin de sonuçlarda etkili olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırmada voleybolcuların izokinetik diz kuvveti ile dikey sıçrama yükseklikleri arasında, özellikle sol bacakta, anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır.

SUMMARY THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ISOKINETIC KNEE STRENGTH AND VERTICAL JUMP HEIGHT IN ELİT VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS This study was made for determining the relationship between isokinetic knee strength and vertical jump height. With this aim, 15 women volleyball players are taken volunteerly in this study. They are (22.06±4.71 years) playing in super lig. Volleyball players' physiological profilles (height, body weight, body fat ratio (%), vertical jump) are determined. In addition by using the isokinetic test isokinetic knee flexion and extension strength are evaluated. When the present study was compared with similar studies, reported data for isokinetic knee strength were found lower than the others. It might be caused by differences in physical characteristics and sport diciplines of participants. It is thought that test's enviroment and encouragement of the subjects during the test affect the results. Consequently, statistical relationship was found espessially on left leg.
