The experiment has carried out in 2007 at Ege University Agriculture Faculty Department of Field Crops Experiment Station. Tree different zeolite doses were applied to three sesame variety types which are Özberk 82, Gölmarmara 88 and Muganlı 57.The effects of zeolite on soluble solid, root weight, number of grain, number of capsules, plant lenght, root lenght, ratio of oil, ratio of protein were investigated. Acording to the results, zeolite has significantly important effect on branch number per plant. The highest branch number per plant (9.00) were obtained application which was 40 kg/da zeolite to Özberk 82. That was followed by control application of Muganlı 57 with 7 branches. The lowest branch number per plant. (4.33) were obtained application which was 40 kg/da zeolite to Gölmarmara 88.Key Words: sesame, zeolite, Özberk-82, Gölmarmara-88, Muganlı-57
Anahtar kelime: susam, klinoptilolit (zeolite), Özberk-82, Gölmarmara-88, Muganda-57
