Hidrolik kumandalı vana tasarımı

Abstract

The valves are the mechanical instruments that are used to reach aims ascanalizing miscellaneous fluids, stopping or passing these fluids, setting flow rate, preventing return of fluid, changing direction of fluid, limiting fluid pressure andproviding fluid safety why valves are in the important place nowadays in fluidinstallation systems. In last years, with the improvements at both the installationsystems and the commercial softwares, the pressure loss curves can be obtained withthe help of the commercial softwares using finite elements or finite volume models. In this thesis, monoblok hydraulic water distribution unit be used for distributingcompressed water taken from main pipeline in the compressed watering system towatering, is designed and explained in details. The pressure losses are obtained fromthe experiments. Additionally, the pressure loss curves are obtained using the code?FLUENT?, which is a ?Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)? software based onfinite volumes method. As a result, it is determined that there are not very differencesbetween the results of the experiments and the results of the finite volume methods, and the pressure loss curves can be obtained with the help of this method withoutmaking further experiments if any changes are performed in the designed valf. Keywords: Valf, Monoblok hydraulic water distribution unit, Pressure loss,Computational fluid dynamics.
