E.Ü. Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümünün Bornova denemetarlalarında 2006 yılında bes adet F2 melez kombinasyonu yetistirilmistir.Bu melez kombinasyonlarda pamuk lifinin önemli sanayi ve ticariözelliklerinden olan lif inceligi, lif mukavemeti ve lif verimine iliskindegerler saptanmıstır.Deneme sonucunda lif inceligi bakımından, Sahin2000 x Karmen,resiproku olan Karmen x Sahin2000 ile Nazilli84 x Gizza45, lifmukavemeti bakımından Nazilli84 x Gizza45 ve Nazilli66-100 x NATAve lif verimi bakımından Nazilli84 x Gizza 45 ve Karmen X Sahin2000F2 melez kombinasyonlarından ümitvar hatlar elde edilebilecegibelirlenmistir.Nazilli84 x Gizza45 F2 melez kombinasyonunun ele alınan tümözelilikler açısından ümitvar hatları içermis oldugu saptanmıs olup, ileriki yıllarda Nazilli 84 x Gizza45 melez populasyonu üzerinde buVIözellikler bakımından yapılacak seleksiyonlarla daha üstün hatların eldeedilebilecegi sonucuna varılmıstır.Anahtar kelimeler: Pamuk, lif inceligi, lif mukavemeti, lifverimi
Five F2 cotton hybrid populations were grown in experimentfields of E.Ü. Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops in 2006.The values of fiber resistance, fiber fineness and fiber yield that aresignificant in cotton trade were examined, in this F2 hybrid populationsstudy.At the result of experiment, promising populations weredetermined Sahin2000 x Karmen, Karmen x Sahin2000 populations forfiber fineness and resistance and Nazilli84 x Gizza45, Nazilli84 x Gizza45 and Karmen X Sahin2000 populations for fiber yields.It is concluded that the Nazilli84 x Gizza45 F2 hybrid populationis promising population for all traits and contains the promising lines. WeVIthink that, it will be obtained superior lines if the selections are carriedout for these traits, on Nazilli84 x Gizza45 population.Keywords: Cotton, fiber fineness, fiber resistance, , fiber yield
