Lightweightness and strength of carbon fibers also give importance to prepregs produced using them. Prepregs are semi-finished products preferred especially for their advantages such as the control of fiber volume fraction and the easiness in the production of laminated composites. On the other hand, thermoplastics, which have been preferred recently as resin materials, provide positive contributions such as recycling and reduction of environmental pollution. Within this study, carbon/polyamide 12 thermoplastic prepregs have been manufactured using a lab-scale continuous production line. Parameters affecting the production have been explained in detail.
