Abstract

Bu araştırma Temmuz- Ağustos 2005 tarihleri arasında Mersin bölgesin’de bir akvaryum işletmesinde Japon (Carassius auratus L.1758 )balıklarında görülen ani mortalitenin nedenini ortaya koymak için yapılmıştır. Ölmek üzere olan balıklar parazitolojik ve bakteriyolojik yönden incelendi. Mortalitenin Trichodina sp. den kaynaklandığı tespit edildi. Parazitli balıklardan hazırlanan solungaç doku örneklerinin histopatolojik muayenesinde parazitin solungaç dokuya yerleştiği ve epitelyumunda hiperplaziye neden olduğu belirlenmiştir. Enfeksiyonun tedavisinde Chloramin-T 15 mg lι konsatrasyonunda 60 dakika /2-3 gün banyo uygulaması etkili olmuştur. Uygulama sonrasında mortalitenin durduğu gözlenmiştir
