Abstract

Bu çalışma, Türkiye denizlerinde kılıç balıkları için kullanılan pelajik paragatların teknik özellikleri ve avlama yöntemlerini rapor etmektedir. Türk kılıç balıkçılığında toplam 11 farklı pelajik paragat tespit edilmiştir. Toplam tekne ve iğne sayısı ile paragat uzunluğu sırasıyla 52 tekne, 15448 iğne ve 508 km olarak hesaplanmıştır
