Abstract

Küresel Pazardaki rekabet ortamında varlığını sürdürmek isteyen bir örgütün, firma içinde verimlilik düzeyini izlemesi önemli bir yönetim fonksiyonudur. APC (Amerikan Verimlilik Merkezi) modeli, firma bazında çok faktörlü bir verimlilik ölçme modelidir. Yöntem, verimlilik performansını doğrudan firmanın karlılığına bağlamaktadır. Bu prosedürlerin üstünlüklerinden en dikkate değer özelliği, geleneksel rasyo yaklaşımlarının ötesinde yöneticilerin daha yatkın oldukları ve daha rahat anladıkları finansal bir dille verimliği açıklama yeteneğidir. Bu durum ölçme prosedürlerinin performans izleme ve karar verme araçlarına daha uygulanabilir olmasını ve firmanın tüm yönetim süreçlerine bütünleşik bir parça haline gelmesini sağlar

Monitoring the level of productivity within a firm is an important management function if that organization is to remain competitive in today’s market place. APC model a multifactor productivity measurement model at the firm scala. Method is to link productivity performance directly to the profitability of the firm. These procedures have several advantages. Over the more traditioanal ratio approaches, most notably the ability to express productivity in financial language that managers are familiar with and can understand. This allows the measurement procedures to became a more viable performance monitoring and decision support tool to become an integral part of the overall management process of the firm
