Abstract

vn ABSTRACT HERPETOFAUNA OF THE LAKES DISTRICT ARAUND BURDUR (BURDUR, SALDA, YARIŞLI, ÇORAK and KARATAŞ LAKE) EGE, Oğuzhan MSc Biology Supervisor: Doç. Dr. C. Varol TOK Ağustos 2001,83 pages In this study, the amphibian and reptilian fauno of The Lakes District araund Burdur was investigated. The specimens were collected September 1999, May and June 2000 and examined morphologically in terms of pholidosis, bodily measurements, ratios, coloration and pattern. Subsequently, results were compared with other studies. The biological and ecological features were mentioned under the same heading as well. Systematical positions the species of which we have a sufficient number of samples were more accurate in terms of morphological characteristics. A total of 2 amphibians and 19 reptiles were determined in Burdur ili. Of these species, 2 were anurans, 7 were lizards, 9 were snakes and I was totoise. All species were examined in subspecies level and their taxonomic status were explained. Key Words : Burdur, Herpetofauna, Ecology

ÖZET BURDUR CİVARINDAKİ GÖLLER BÖLGESİNİN (BURDUR, SALDA, YARIŞLI, ÇORAK ve KARATAŞ GÖLÜ) HERPETOFAUNASI EGE, Oğuzhan Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Biyoloji Bölümü Tez Yöneticisi: Doç. Dr. C. Varol TOK Ağustos 2001, 83 sayfa Burdur ili Göller Bölgesi'nin amfibi ve reptil faunasının ortaya çıkarılması amaçlanan bu araştırmada, araziden 1999, 2000 Mayıs ve Haziran aylarında toplanan örneklerin morfolojik karakterleri (Pholidosis, renk-desen, vücut ölçüm ve oranlan) incelenmiş, daha önce yapılmış çalışmalarla karşılaştırılmıştır. Türlerin tespit edilebilen biyolojik ve ekolojik özellikleri aynı başlık altında verilmiştir. Yeterli sayıda örnek temin edilebilen türlerin taksonomik durumlarına açıklık getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu araştırmada Burdur ili Göller Bölgesi' nde 12 amfibi ve reptil familyasından 21 tür tespit edilmiştir.
