Abstract

The objective of this work is to study tectonic and denudational process, of the relief and sedimentation of morfogenetics agents as Upper Cretaceous as nowadays. Tectonic and denudational reconstruction throught geomorphologic, geologic and thermocronologic methodologies. Fission tacks results showing four (4) events: the first event in the upper Cretaceous (120 - 90 My), Upper Cretaceuos/Paleocene (80 - 60 My); the Eocene/Oligocene (40 - 30 My) and Miocene (20 - 10 My). This events relationship for continental break - up (1º event), the formation of Soutth American Surface (2º event); the final phase of alkaline magmatism (3º event) and plataform uplift (Oligocene/ Miocene). This results of compartment for differents levels indicates reactivation of faults and blocks tectonics.
