Abstract

Neste trabalho, estudamos uma classe de equações do tipo Hénon que envolvem o operador 1-Laplaciano na bola unitária. Com algumas condições sobre a não-linearidade, prova-se a existência de soluções radiais e, para um parâmetro em uma determinada faixa, prova-se a existência de quebra de simetria pela presença de soluções não radiais. Nossa abordagem é baseada em um esquema de aproximação onde uma análise completa das soluções dos problemas envolvendo o operador p- Laplaciano associados é necessária.

In this work, we study a class of Hénon-type equations which involve the 1-Laplacian operator in the unit ball. With some conditions on the non-linearity, it is proved the existence of radial solutions and, for a parameter in a certain range, it is proved the existence of symmetry breaking through the presence of non-radial solutions. The approach is based on an approximation scheme, where a thorough analysis of the solutions of problems involving the associated p-Laplacian operator is necessary.
