Conversor CC-CA empregando rede de impedância do tipo Quasi-Fonte-Y

Abstract

Converter topologies based on impedance source networks provide solutions to some of the limitations associated with traditional inverters, and create possibilities for applications where cost, reliability and energy efficiency are critical factors. In this sense, this work presents a methodology for analysis, design and control of a particular topology of impedance network, called Quasi-Y-Source. In particular, the work presents a detailed analysis of the converter, based on a study on its operating stages, comparison of SPWM modulation methods, small signal model and dynamic behavior assessments in the time and frequency domain, aiming to characterize relevant aspects for a control project. The following topics are presented and verified, through computer simulations: a) a design case for the Quasi-Y-Source converter; b) a new proposal for FCS-MPC control (Finite Control Set - Model Predictive Control), which dispenses the design of weight factors and small signal models, with robust performance and applicable for voltage or current mode controls.
