Colheita mecanizada e perdas quantitativas de sementes de crotalária

Abstract

Na colheita mecanizada de sementes podem ocorrer perdas significativas, que reduzem a produtividade, diminuem a rentabilidade e podem causar grandes prejuízos ao produtor. Apesar de amplamente estudada em várias culturas, as perdas na colheita de crotalária não têm sido objeto de avaliação científica. Desta forma, o objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar as perdas quantitativas de sementes de Crotalaria juncea em função da velocidade de colheita e da rotação do cilindro trilhador. O experimento foi conduzido na área da Fazenda de Ensino, Pesquisa e Produção da Unesp/Jaboticabal, com delineamento em inteiramente casualizado, em esquema fatorial 2x3, sendo duas velocidades de deslocamento da máquina (1,8 e 3,2 km h-1) e três rotações do cilindro trilhador (750, 800 e 850 rpm), com 4 repetições. Concluiu-se que as medidas relativas ao desenvolvimento das plantas apresentaram comportamento homogêneo, indicando pouca dispersão dos dados. Observou-se que a velocidade de deslocamento da colhedora não afetou as perdas na plataforma de corte. Entretanto, as maiores perdas de sementes de crotalária que ocorreram na plataforma de corte da colhedora, foram na forma de vagens não colhidas. Foi observado que as perdas totais na colheita de sementes de crotalária foram elevadas, sendo as perdas em vagens sobre o solo, responsáveis pela quase totalidade das perdas encontradas.

In mechanized harvesting of seeds can occur losses, which reduce productivity, decrease the profitability and can do serious damage to the producer. The objective of this work was to evaluate the quantitative seed losses of Crotalaria juncea depending on the harvester speed and the rotation of the threshing cylinder. The experiment was conducted in the area of Education, Research and Production Unesp/Jaboticabal, using a entirely casualized design on factorial away 2x3, with two-speed displacement of the machine (1.8 and 3.2 km h(-1)) and three rotations of threshing cylinder (750, 800 and 850 rpm), with 4 repetitions. It was concluded that the measures relating to the development of the plants showed homogeneous behavior, indicating little dispersion of the data. It was observed that the rate of displacement of the harvester and rotation of the drum track not affected the losses in the plataform of cutting. The largest losses of crotalaria seeds occurred on the plataform of cutting the harvester machine, in the form of pods not harvested. It was observed that the total losses in the harvest of crotalaria seed were high, and the losses in pods on the soil, responsible for almost all the losses encountered.
