Abstract

This work aims to analyze the flow of international trade in services from the twelve largest economies in a context of global value chains. The study of the proposed topic becomes relevant due to the significant growth of service activities in the last years, especially services with potential to add value, which has gained space in negotiations and discussions agendas. The methodology proposed for this research is to execute the Network Analysis with input-output matrix data, available from the World Input-Output Database (WIOD, 2016), for the years 2000 and 2014. For this, the Gephi software enables the generation of networks, whose layout facilitates the visualization of the trade flow and allows the identification of the country and sector of source and target of services exports.
