Ponte jornalismo e as representações das violências: práticas discursivas e contra-hegemonia

Abstract

The present study seeks to analyze the representations of the violence of some of the videos on the YouTube channel of Ponte Jornalismo. It is intended to map them in order to trace the main characteristics related to modes of production and discursive practices. Initially, was developed a theoretical basis for studying the field, with the purpose of presenting and justifying choices and definitions, such as considering the Journalism Bridge a counter-hegemonic force in the universe of representations. The hypothesis formulated is that it is possible to constitute discursive practices based on counter-hegemonic perspectives, strengthening other paradigms on the representations of violence. The main objective of this dissertation is to analyze the representations of violence in the Journalism Bridge and to understand the strategies and discursive practices of this channel. The empirical corpus of this research are some videos of the Journalism Bridge. Was systematized how would approach the objective, defragmenting it in a primary focus (representations) and secondary (discursive practices and counter-hegemony). This work uses qualitative approach and the case study strategy in an empirical deductive-inductive research and production effort. Finally, it is the analysis of other forms of violence representation in the media, where the invisible people and state violence are placed in the spotlight and in the protagonism of the scenes.
