Abstract

Currently the degree of competition between organizations that develop software is very high, which is enhanced by the emergence of new technologies. In order to control the uncertainties that may arise in the process of developing software projects, risk management should be employed, which seeks to provide management and treatment of these uncertainties. However, there are difficulties in applying this area of knowledge ranging from the lack of knowledge and experience of the employees of an organization to the lack of instruction for the use of risk management in the software development process. Thus, the present work proposes a method of maturity in risk management for software development, called R3M-SD - Risk Management Maturity Method for Software Development. The method is intended to assist organizations that develop software in the use of risk management in their projects.
