Toxicidade do sulfato de cobre e do sulfato de zinco para rã-touro, Rana catesbeiana Shaw, 1802: toxicidade aguda e crônica e parâmetros hematológicos

Abstract

The aim of this paper was evaluate the effects of copper, zinc and copper associated to zinc (1:1) in hematological parameters of bullfrog tadpoles, Rana catesbeiana, by tests of acute and chronic toxicity of tadpoles exposed to this metals. In the acute toxicity tests, the 96h-LC50 (median lethal concentration) of copper was 2,20 mg/L, of zinc 2,78 mg/L and of copper associated to zinc 1,90 mg/L. After the acute toxicity tests, was realized the chronic toxicity tests with three concentrations (CL50, CL50/10 and CL50/100) and a control group (0 mg/L). Three collects of tadpole blood were realized by punching tale vases in the zero moment, on the 7th day and 14th day. Blood cells analysis was realized through hematological parameters: hematocrit (Ht), hemoglobin rate (Hb), number of erythrocytes (Er), corpuscular volume medium (VCM), corpuscular hemoglobin medium (HCM), corpuscular hemoglobin concentration medium (CHCM), leucocytes total count, trombocites count, immature red cells count and leucocytes differential count, classing in lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrofyles, basophiles and eosinofilies. The results obtained in acute toxicity tests showed a higher sensibility of bullfrog tadpoles exposed to copper associated with zinc, by the LC50 1,90 mg/L Cu+Zn be lowest to LC50 of copper (2,20 mg/L) e LC50 of zinc (2,78 mg/L). Hematological parameters variations in the three chronic toxicity tests showed similar behave, without bigger toxic effect on tadpoles exposed to copper associated with zinc
