Fatores de risco gestacionais e peso ao nascer

Abstract

El objetivo del presente estudio fue investigar los factores de riesgo de gestaciones y su relación con el peso de los niños al nacer en dos grupos de gestantes pertenecientes a niveles diferentes de renta. La muestra fue compuesta por 370 gestantes inscritas en el programa pre-natal en 10 Unidades Básicas de Salud y un consultorio particular en la ciudad de Botucatu. Entre los factores de riesgo investigados, la escolaridad fue el que presentó una relación importante con el peso del recién nacido. Las informaciones obtenidas destacan la importancia del control de situaciones de riesgo de las gestaciones en la asistencia pre-natal

O Objetivo do presente estudo foi investigar os fatores de risco gestacionais e sua relação com o peso da criança ao nascer em dois grupos de gestantes pertencentes a níveis diferentes de renda. A amostra foi composta por 370 gestantes inscritas no programa de pré-natal em 10 Unidades Básicas de Saúde e um consultório particular na cidade de Botucatu. Dentre os fatores de risco investigados, a escolaridade foi o que apresentou relação importante com o peso do recém-nascido. Os dados obtidos ressaltam a importância do controle de situações de risco gestacional dentro da assistência pré-natal.

The aim of the present work was to investigate gestational risk factors and their relation to the birth weight of a child in two groups of gestational women who belong to different income levels. The sample was composed of 370 gestational women enrolled in a prenatal program in 10 Health Care Centers and a private office in Botucatu. Among risk factors investigated, education was the one which showed an important relation to birth weight. Data remark the importance of gestational risk situation control within prenatal assistance
