Meta-tecnología, meta-cognición y percepción del uso de las TIC en el aprendizaje universitario

Abstract

Una vez superada la integración de las TIC en la docencia universitaria como herramientas, es preciso atender a los contextos sociales en los que se generan las tecnologías y conocer su implicación en la vida del ser humano. Desde el punto de vista meta-tecnológico, se debe producir un cambio sustancial en la educación que conlleve la reorganización del sistema educativo desde la contextualización de la tecnología con el fin de ofrecer una formación integral. Nuestro objetivo es realizar desde el enfoque meta-cognitivo un diagnóstico del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje meta-tecnológico del alumnado universitario cuando la tecnología es objeto de estudio en sí misma, partiendo de la hipótesis de que el mayor o menor uso de las TIC no incide directamente en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje meta-tecnológico. A través del análisis de contenido cuantitativo y cualitativo de los resultados obtenidos mediante una encuesta presencial, realizada al 78,37% del alumnado de la asignatura Tecnologías para la Información Escrita, impartida en el Grado de Comunicación Audiovisual de la Universidad de Sevilla en el curso 2017/2018, concluimos que los resultados son relativamente positivos, dado que el alumnado reconoce haber obtenido un alto nivel de competencias tecnológicas, pero no está probado el nivel de comprensión de éstas en su contexto social. En todo caso, el uso de las TIC no es decisivo para garantizar su comprensión.
