Resolución numérica de ecuaciones diferenciales ordinarias de primer orden

Abstract

El trabajo presente tiene como objetivo un análisis de los métodos numéricos y su efectividad en el cálculo de aproximaciones para la resolución de problemas de condiciones iniciales con ecuaciones diferenciales de primer orden. Comenzaremos pues introduciendo el concepto de ecuación diferencial, su origen teórico, su clasificación, así como la problemática presente en su resolución. Posteriormente, procederemos a exponer algunos de los principales métodos para su resolución numérica, a saber, el método de Euler, el método de Euler mejorado, y los métodos de Rung-Kutta de tercer y cuarto orden. Finalmente, analizaremos los resultados obtenidos de aplicar dichos métodos a una ecuación de carácter económico (relación precio-tiempo), para así extraer conclusiones sobre su capacidad como herramienta de estudio.
